This meditation script is designed to support you as you guide your client through a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra experience centered on the chakra system. It provides a structured pathway for helping clients shift from surface awareness into a state of conscious rest where the physical body, mind, and subtle energetic layers can soften and recalibrate. Use this intro to orient yourself before guiding the session, and allow the tone to remain soothing, steady, and deeply grounding as you prepare to lead them inward.

Let’s get started.

Yoga Nidra Chakra Meditation Script:

Invite your client to lie down in a comfortable position, allowing their body to settle and soften into the surface beneath them. Encourage them to notice the weight of their body, the natural rise and fall of their breath, and the gentle shift into stillness.

As they begin to relax, guide their awareness to the sensations of contact—the heels resting on the ground, the backs of the legs releasing, the hips becoming heavier, the spine lengthening, the shoulders easing downward, and the head supported fully. Invite them to observe their breath without changing it, simply noticing the flow of air moving in and out.

As their breath settles into a quiet rhythm, gently guide them inward toward a deeper, more spacious awareness. Invite them to bring their attention to the base of the spine, sensing the deep stability of this area.

Encourage them to visualize a warm red glow forming here—steady, grounding, and reassuring. With each breath, this red light expands slightly, grounding them more firmly into the earth and instilling a sense of safety and support. Allow them to rest with this feeling of rooted presence.

From this grounded base, guide their awareness upward into the lower abdomen, just below the navel. Invite them to imagine a soft orange light gently forming here.

Encourage them to sense a feeling of warmth and ease, as if this area becomes fluid and open, allowing creativity and emotional balance to flow freely. Let the orange light expand with each inhale, loosening any tension and inviting softness into the entire pelvic region.

As the breath continues its natural rhythm, guide their awareness upward to the upper abdomen, above the navel. Invite them to see or sense a bright yellow light glowing here, like a warm inner sun.

Encourage them to feel this space ignite gently, filling them with confidence, clarity, and personal strength. Each breath fuels this inner radiance, allowing doubt and stagnation to dissolve as empowerment rises within them.

Invite their awareness to move from the abdomen into the center of the chest. Here, guide them to imagine a soft green or gentle pink light expanding outward. Encourage them to feel the chest soften, the emotional body open, and the heart space grow more spacious with each breath.

Let them rest in the sensation of compassion—both receiving and offering it—allowing any emotional heaviness to gradually melt away in the warmth of this light.

Gently guide their awareness upward into the throat area. Invite them to visualize a cool, soothing blue light forming here, clearing space for ease, honesty, and authentic expression.

Encourage them to imagine the breath moving freely through the throat, releasing tension and creating openness. Allow the blue light to expand, bringing clarity and a sense of gentle communication to this space.

From the throat, guide attention subtly upward to the space between the eyebrows. Invite them to sense or visualize a deep indigo light glowing in the center of the forehead—calm, steady, and perceptive.

Encourage them to feel the mind becoming quieter, more spacious, and more attuned to inner wisdom. Allow them to rest in this intuitive awareness, feeling clarity unfold from within.

Finally, guide their attention to the very top of the head. Invite them to imagine a radiant violet or soft white light forming and expanding gently. Encourage them to sense an openness here, as though they are connected to a vast field of stillness and awareness beyond the physical body.

Allow this light to cascade downward through the entire body, washing through each chakra, harmonizing and aligning the energetic system from crown to root.

Guide them to rest now in the fullness of this calm, balanced state. Invite them to feel the entire body as one integrated field of sensation—light, open, and deeply at ease. Allow several breaths here for integration.

When the time feels right, gently encourage awareness back into the physical space. Guide them to notice the movement of breath again, the rising and falling of the chest and belly, the gentle presence of the fingers and toes.
Invite small movements, perhaps a stretch, or a slow return to the room around them.

When they are ready, they may open their eyes, bringing with them the clarity, balance, and grounding cultivated throughout this practice.
