This guided meditation script is designed to help your clients reconnect with their personal values—the deep, guiding principles that shape meaningful action, intention, and identity.

You can use this session to support clients who feel disconnected, uncertain, or at a crossroads. It gently encourages self-inquiry, emotional clarity, and alignment between inner values and outer life.

The script can be used as written, or adapted to fit your own voice and the needs of your clients. It’s suitable for individual sessions, group classes, or as part of a longer mindfulness or coaching practice.

Let’s get started.

Values Guided Meditation Script:

At first, bring your awareness to your heart space…

That sacred place in the center of your chest.

Imagine a soft, golden light glowing here—warm, steady, alive.

With every inhale, feel this light grow brighter.

With every exhale, feel it spread calm throughout your body.

Let this space be your anchor for the journey you’re about to take.

A journey inward, toward the essence of who you are.

Toward your values—those quiet, guiding truths that live beneath the surface of daily life.

Begin by gently asking yourself:

What do I truly care about?

Let this question arise like a ripple in still water.

You don’t need to force an answer.

Just invite it, and observe what floats to the surface.

Maybe you see images…

Hear words…

Feel emotions…

Or maybe there’s stillness. That’s okay too.

Trust that your deeper self is listening—and responding, in its own time.

Now, begin to notice certain values that resonate with you.

You may hear or feel words like:

Kindness. Honesty. Integrity. Joy. Freedom. Connection. Love. Wisdom. Growth. Peace. Service. Creativity. Courage. Presence. Balance.

Allow any of these words to land gently in your awareness.

Let them arrive like visitors—some may come forward, others may fade.

There is no right or wrong.

Just presence.

Now, choose one value—just one—that feels especially meaningful right now.

Not the one you think you should pick…

But the one your heart naturally leans toward.

Let this value come to the center of your attention.

Feel it resting in your heart space, glowing with soft energy.

Now gently ask yourself:

What does this value mean to me—personally?

Take your time with this.

Let your own definition form—through feelings, memories, or images.

Ask:

Where in my life do I honor this value?

Can you recall a time when you lived this value fully?

Maybe in a decision you made, a conversation you had, or a moment when you acted from your truth.

Pause here and relive that moment.

Notice how it felt in your body.

What emotions were present?

What did it change for you—or for someone else?

Now, shift gently and ask:

Where in my life do I ignore or compromise this value?

Are there situations, relationships, or choices that pull you away from it?

Let this be a space of honest reflection—not blame, not shame.

Just noticing. Just awareness.

Now breathe into that space.

And ask yourself:

What would it look like to live more fully in alignment with this value?

Let yourself imagine:

If this value guided your thoughts, your words, your actions—

How would you show up differently in the world?

Visualize a version of yourself who fully embodies this value.

See how they walk, how they speak, how they treat themselves and others.

Watch the ease, the confidence, the clarity they carry.

You are not imagining someone else.

You are seeing you—your truest self—emerging from within.

Now take a moment to feel this value in your body.

Where do you feel it most strongly?

In your chest? Your gut? Your hands?

Place a hand there, if you like, and breathe into that space.

Whisper to yourself:

This is who I am. This value lives in me.

Repeat this silently or aloud a few times:

This is who I am. This value lives in me.

Now expand your awareness.

Begin to reflect on how this value can support you moving forward.

Ask yourself:

What small step can I take today to honor this value?

It might be something simple—like speaking kindly, pausing before reacting, taking care of your body, setting a boundary, expressing love, telling the truth.

Let it be real. Let it be doable.

Let it matter.

Hold that intention gently in your awareness.

Like a seed planted in good soil.

It will grow. Trust that it will grow.

Take a few moments here to simply breathe.

Let everything you’ve discovered settle into your body like roots into the earth.

Feel the quiet strength of your values holding you steady—like an internal compass, pointing you home.

Now, slowly begin to return to the rhythm of your breath.

Feel the inhale…

Feel the exhale…

Let each breath remind you of this inner connection.

Bring awareness back to your body—

The weight of your body supported beneath you.

The sounds around you.

The space you’re in.

Gently wiggle your fingers…

Your toes…

Roll your shoulders…

Stretch, if it feels good.

And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes.

Take one last deep breath in through the nose…

And a full exhale out through the mouth.

Pause.

You’ve just done something powerful.

You’ve taken time to reconnect with what matters most.

Let that clarity stay with you.

Let your values guide your choices, your relationships, your journey.

You can return to this space anytime.
