This guided meditation script is designed specifically for meditation professionals to use with their clients. It supports guiding clients to connect deeply with their inner light — a steady source of calm, clarity, and resilience that resides within each person.

By using this script, you can help clients cultivate a sense of inner peace and strength, which they can carry with them beyond the session. This practice works well for individual or group meditation sessions, encouraging clients to find safety, warmth, and clarity within themselves.

Prepare your client in a quiet, comfortable space, invite them to settle in, close their eyes, and begin to turn their attention inward.

Let’s get started.

Inner Light Guided Meditation Script:

Begin by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Allow your body to feel fully supported by the surface beneath you. When you’re ready, softly close your eyes and start to bring your attention inward.

Take a deep, slow breath in through your nose… hold it for a moment… and exhale fully through your mouth. Let the breath guide you to settle deeper into stillness. Take another deep breath, filling your lungs completely, and exhale slowly, releasing any tension or worries you may be carrying.

Feel your body begin to relax with each breath. Notice your feet resting against the floor or bed. Feel your legs supported and heavy. Sense your hips sinking into the chair or cushion. Let your spine lengthen naturally, allowing your chest to open gently with every inhale.

Turn your awareness now to your shoulders. With every breath out, feel them soften, drop away from your ears, releasing any tightness. Allow your hands to rest loosely — palms down or up — whatever feels most natural and comfortable for you.

Bring your focus to your face now. Smooth out any tension in your forehead. Let your eyes rest gently closed. Unclench your jaw. Perhaps part your lips slightly, inviting a soft, natural rest in your mouth.

Now, direct your attention to the center of your chest — your heart space. Imagine a small, glowing light beginning to flicker there, warm and steady like a tiny flame. This is your inner light — your own personal source of calm, peace, and clarity.

As you breathe in, imagine breathing life into this light. See it grow warmer, brighter, more vibrant with every inhale. Feel its gentle warmth begin to radiate through your chest, filling your heart with a soothing glow. This light holds no judgment, no expectations — only kindness and acceptance.

With each breath, allow this light to expand beyond your heart, slowly spreading throughout your body. It flows gently through your shoulders, down your arms, into your hands and fingers. Feel its warmth travel down your spine, filling your back with comfort and ease.

Let the light continue to flow down through your torso, into your hips and thighs, down your knees and calves, and finally into your feet and toes. Imagine it glowing brighter as it fills every part of your body, lighting up your whole being from the inside out.

Feel yourself becoming more grounded and centered as this warm, radiant light anchors you deeply in the present moment. It’s steady and strong, yet soft and nurturing — a light that never fades, no matter what storms may come.

If your mind begins to drift, gently notice where it has gone, and kindly bring your attention back to the glow of your inner light. There is no need to judge yourself or the thoughts — simply return to this warm, comforting flame that lives within you.

Now, imagine this light extending beyond your physical body, creating a luminous, protective sphere around you. This sphere is your safe space — filled with peace, love, and gentle strength. It allows you to feel calm and secure, protected from anything that does not serve your well-being.

Spend a few moments here in this bubble of radiant light, feeling your breath soften, your heart calm, and your whole body resting peacefully. Notice the gentle pulse of this light, steady and rhythmic, like a quiet heartbeat of love and safety.

Allow yourself to fully receive the peace this inner light offers. Know that this light is always within you — a source of strength, clarity, and compassion you can return to whenever you choose.

Now, begin to sense the qualities this light brings — calmness that soothes your nervous system, clarity that sharpens your mind, and warmth that fills your heart with kindness. Let these feelings expand throughout your whole being.

Take a deep breath in… and as you exhale, imagine sending this radiant light outward, letting it shine from you into the world. Picture your light connecting with the light in others, creating a web of calm and love that surrounds the planet.

Spend a few moments breathing with this connection, feeling your inner light shine brightly and fully.

When you feel ready, slowly bring your awareness back to your physical body. Begin to notice the sensation of your hands and feet, the surface beneath you supporting your weight. Take a few gentle movements — maybe wiggle your fingers and toes, stretch your arms or legs if that feels good.

Take one last deep, nourishing breath, feeling the light inside you steady and glowing.

When you’re ready, slowly open your eyes, carrying this calm, radiant light within you as you return to your day.

Remember, your inner light is always there — a source of peace, strength, and love you can come back to anytime you need.
