This guided meditation script is designed for meditation professionals who wish to guide their clients into a deep state of relaxation, grounding, and connection with nature. It uses the imagery of sitting under a wise and ancient tree to help clients feel supported, present, and calm. This practice can be used in one-on-one sessions, group classes, or as a stand-alone audio for your clients to experience on their own. Adjust the pacing and pauses as needed, depending on your client’s comfort and focus.

Let’s get started.

Guided Meditation Script Sitting Under the Tree:

Take a few moments now to find a comfortable position—either seated or lying down—where your body can be relaxed, supported, and free from distractions. Let your hands rest naturally by your sides or gently in your lap. Close your eyes softly, and begin to draw your attention inward.

Notice your breath… the gentle rise and fall of your chest, the subtle sensation of air moving in and out of your nose. There is no need to change the rhythm. Simply observe your breath as it flows naturally—steady, soft, and calming.

With each inhale, feel yourself arriving more fully into this moment. And with each exhale, release any tension, any thoughts, any lingering pressure from your day. Allow your shoulders to soften.

Let your jaw unclench. Feel the muscles in your face relax. Let your body begin to melt into stillness, as though gravity is gently holding you in place.

Now, imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful forest. The entrance is wide and inviting. You take your first step onto a quiet woodland path.

The forest air is cool and refreshing, filled with the grounding scent of earth, pine, and wildflowers. A gentle breeze moves through the treetops, and sunlight filters through the leaves above, casting soft golden beams onto the forest floor.

With each step you take, you feel more at ease. The path beneath your feet is soft, blanketed with moss and fallen leaves.You hear the comforting crunch of twigs and earth with each step, and somewhere in the distance, a bird sings its peaceful song.

As you walk slowly, you begin to feel a deep sense of belonging—as though this place knows you, welcomes you, and has been waiting for you. You pass tall trees with wide trunks, clusters of ferns, and the occasional patch of wildflowers blooming in the shade.

The forest feels alive but calm, vibrant but peaceful. With every breath, you absorb its quiet wisdom. With every step, you release the noise of the outside world.

Then, up ahead, in a small open clearing, you see a magnificent tree standing tall and alone. It’s larger than any tree around it—ancient, wise, and strong. Its roots stretch wide and deep into the earth, anchoring it with powerful presence.

The trunk is thick and weathered, marked by age and resilience. Its branches spread far and wide, offering a canopy of gentle green, like an umbrella of peace.

You slowly walk toward this tree, feeling drawn to its steady, grounding energy. You arrive at its base and settle into a comfortable seated position, allowing your back to lean gently against its trunk. I

nstantly, you feel supported, like you're resting against something eternal. The tree offers no judgment, no demands—only quiet presence. Beneath you, the forest floor is soft and cool. Around you, the air is still and safe. You are held here. You are welcome here.

Let yourself fully arrive in this moment. Allow your breath to deepen, matching the grounded rhythm of the tree. Inhale slowly… drawing in calm, strength, and stillness.

Exhale gently… releasing tension, worry, and thought. With each breath, imagine you are becoming more connected with the tree behind you. Its strength becomes your strength. Its stillness becomes your stillness.

Visualize your body becoming one with the earth beneath you. Imagine gentle roots extending from your spine and legs, weaving down into the ground.

With each breath, these roots grow deeper—connecting you to the core of the earth, anchoring you in peace, in balance, in safety. You are grounded. You are steady. You are enough.

Now, simply rest. Be still beneath this sacred tree. Let thoughts come and go like clouds in the sky. If your mind wanders, gently guide your attention back to the feeling of sitting here—peaceful, connected, supported. Allow the silence to hold you. Allow the tree’s ancient wisdom to surround you.

Let this stillness expand within you. Imagine it growing like a soft light in your chest—warm, spacious, and calm. This is the calm that lives within you, always available when you choose to return. Here, you are safe. You are present. You are whole.

Take as long as you need in this quiet place. Let the forest hold you in its timeless peace. Let the tree remind you of the strength that lives in stillness. Let your breath guide you deeper into yourself.

Now, very gently, begin to bring your awareness back to your body. Notice your breath again—the rhythm of your inhale… and exhale. Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes, slowly waking up your body. Feel the surface beneath you, the space around you.

And when you're ready, take one final, deep, nourishing breath in… and slowly exhale. When it feels natural, allow your eyes to open softly, bringing your calm awareness back into the room.

​Carry the peace of this tree within you as you move forward. Let its strength guide you. Let its stillness ground you. And know that you can return to this place—this quiet, sacred space—anytime you need.
