Guided Meditation Script for Kids Sleep:
It’s time to close your eyes and relax your body. Let’s go on a magical journey together to a place where sweet dreams live.
Find a cozy position in your bed. Wiggle your toes, stretch your arms, and take a deep breath in through your nose… and slowly breathe out through your mouth. Let’s try that again—big breath in… and gently breathe out. Good job. Let your body feel soft and warm, just like a cuddly teddy bear.
Now, let’s imagine your body is like a big balloon. When you breathe in, the balloon fills up. And when you breathe out, it gently floats down. Let’s fill the balloon one more time… and now, let it float down, down, down… until it lands softly on a fluffy cloud. Feel how light and calm your body feels on the cloud.
This cloud is very special. It is made of the softest, most peaceful material. It will keep you safe and cozy as we travel to a wonderful place. Imagine the cloud lifting you up slowly, taking you far above the ground, high into the sky. As you float, you can see the twinkling stars around you, shining bright and peaceful.
As the cloud carries you higher and higher, you can feel all your muscles relaxing. Your arms, legs, and body are completely relaxed. Let your fingers and toes feel light and calm. With every breath you take, you can feel yourself getting sleepier and sleepier. It’s okay to let go of the day’s worries. They’re all far below you, and you’re safe up here in the sky.
Now, as you look below, you see a beautiful, magical garden filled with glowing flowers and sparkling stars. The flowers are all different colors—purple, blue, pink, and gold. They shine gently in the night, lighting up the path before you. You take a step, and feel soft grass beneath your feet. It feels warm and smooth, just like a soft blanket.
You walk deeper into the garden, and the stars above twinkle and smile down at you. The air is fresh, and you can hear the gentle sound of a babbling brook nearby. Everything around you feels calm and peaceful. In this magical garden, you are free to be happy and relaxed. Everything here is filled with love and light.
As you walk through this beautiful garden, take a moment to feel how calm and happy you are. You are safe here. You are loved. You are relaxed. Repeat these words in your mind: I am calm. I am loved. I am safe. It’s okay to feel peaceful and full of joy right now.
The garden begins to change, and you find a soft, fluffy cloud waiting for you at the edge of a peaceful meadow. You gently sit down on the cloud, and it wraps around you like a warm, cozy blanket. The stars above grow even brighter, and the breeze is soft and cool. You feel so sleepy now.
This magical cloud is ready to take you even higher, where you can float through the stars, up into the sky, and into the land of dreams. With every breath you take, you feel your body grow even more relaxed, more peaceful. Your eyelids are growing heavier, and your body feels warm and light.
As you float higher and higher, you pass through a soft mist of golden light. It sparkles as you pass through, and you feel even more relaxed and cozy. You feel like you are surrounded by soft clouds, floating gently on a soft breeze. Everything is perfect here. You are surrounded by love and care.
Now, the stars are saying good night to you, and they are singing a soft lullaby. You can hear their voices in the wind, whispering, “Sweet dreams, little one. It’s time to rest.” You are ready to fall into a peaceful sleep, knowing that you are safe and loved.
Take one more deep breath, and as you breathe out, you feel your body sink deeper into the softness of your cloud. Feel the calmness of the stars around you, the gentle breeze, and the love that fills this magical place. You are ready to sleep, ready for your dreams.
As you drift into a deep, peaceful sleep, remember that you are always loved, always safe, and always calm. Sweet dreams, little star.
