This guided hypnosis session script is designed to help your clients strengthen their self-esteem, release self-doubt, and reconnect with their inner confidence. It provides a structured approach for guiding them into a deeply relaxed state where they can internalize positive beliefs about themselves and cultivate lasting self-worth.

Through visualization, guided relaxation, and affirmations, your clients will develop a stronger sense of self-respect, embrace their unique qualities, and feel empowered to approach life with clarity, courage, and confidence. This session supports your clients in building a resilient inner foundation, helping them navigate challenges with calm assurance and carry a deep sense of self-love into their daily lives.

Let's get started.

Guided Hypnosis for Self-Esteem and Confidence:

Invite your client to settle into a position where they feel fully supported, either sitting or lying down, and ask them to close their eyes, bringing gentle awareness to their breathing. Guide them to take a slow, deep inhalation through the nose, feeling the chest and abdomen expand fully, and then exhale slowly through the mouth, releasing tension, stress, and any lingering distractions.

Encourage them to continue this deep, rhythmic breathing, noticing how each inhalation brings in calm, and each exhalation allows them to release any discomfort or negative thoughts.

As their breath deepens, their body begins to feel heavier and more relaxed, sinking comfortably into the surface beneath them. Suggest that with each breath, they allow themselves to drift deeper into a state of comfort, relaxation, and openness.

Now, invite them to imagine a warm, gentle light surrounding their body, a protective and nurturing glow that makes them feel safe and supported. With each inhale, this light grows brighter, and with each exhale, any tension or stress melts away.

Encourage them to notice the warmth of the light as it slowly begins to fill them from head to toe, softening every muscle, easing mental tension, and creating a sense of complete ease.

Ask them to focus on the center of the chest, imagining this light growing warmer and more radiant with each heartbeat, representing their inner strength, self-esteem, and confidence.

Encourage them to see this light expanding outward, filling every part of their body, and then extending beyond, surrounding them with a sense of empowerment, self-assurance, and unconditional self-love.

Next, guide your client to recall a memory in which they felt proud, capable, or deeply appreciated. Invite them to immerse fully in this moment, noticing the sights, sounds, and feelings that accompany it.

Ask them to allow the confidence, joy, and satisfaction of that memory to spread through their body, radiating from the heart center to the arms, legs, and fingertips.

Let them feel this sensation as a warm, steady energy, a reminder of their inner potential and personal strength. As they experience this feeling, introduce a series of affirmations to reinforce positive self-beliefs.
Encourage them to repeat silently or aloud:

"I am worthy of love and respect,"
"I am capable and confident in who I am,"
"I embrace my unique strengths and qualities,"
"I release self-doubt and welcome self-assurance,"
"I am deserving of happiness, success, and fulfillment,"
"Every day, I grow stronger, more confident, and more aligned with my true self."


Give them space to absorb each affirmation, allowing the words to sink deeply into the subconscious, forming a natural foundation for self-esteem and self-acceptance.

Invite them now to visualize a future version of themselves, living their life fully empowered and confident. Guide them to imagine this version moving through daily experiences with ease and authenticity, approaching challenges with clarity, courage, and resilience, and stepping into new opportunities with certainty and grace.

Encourage them to notice posture, energy, and the way this confident self interacts with the world, embodying self-respect, calm assurance, and inner strength.

Allow them to feel a sense of alignment between their present self and this empowered version, gradually merging these qualities into their current being so that confidence becomes natural and effortless. Remind them that this inner resource of strength and self-esteem is always available, ready to support them whenever they need guidance, reassurance, or courage.

As the visualization continues, deepen the hypnotic state by inviting them to imagine walking along a path of calm, soft light, feeling each step grounded, secure, and purposeful. Each step reinforces their sense of inner power and self-worth.

With each inhale, they draw in confidence; with each exhale, they release fear, doubt, or self-criticism. Encourage them to notice how their body and mind respond to this sensation, allowing the feeling of empowerment to permeate every cell. Invite them to take a few moments in silence to fully integrate these sensations, letting the confidence, calm, and self-love settle deeply within.

Gradually, begin guiding them back to awareness of the body, the support of the surface beneath them, and the rhythm of their breath. Encourage them to bring with them the sense of calm, inner strength, and confidence cultivated in this session, carrying it forward into their daily life.

Remind them that this empowered state is always accessible and that they can return to this inner light and self-assured presence anytime they choose. When they feel ready, they can slowly open their eyes, bringing with them renewed self-esteem, inner strength, and a lasting sense of confidence that will continue to grow and enrich their life with each passing day.
