This 5-minute guided meditation script is designed specifically for children. It will help your young clients relax, find calm, and release any tension in their bodies and minds. The script uses soothing imagery and gentle guidance to create a safe, peaceful space where children can feel relaxed and focused. It’s ideal for moments when they need a short but effective break, or when you want to help them ground themselves during a busy day.
As you lead them through this session, encourage them to embrace the visualizations, focusing on their breath and the peaceful environment created in their mind. Let them know that they are safe, calm, and in control of the experience.

5 Minute Guided Meditation Script for Kids:
Take a deep breath in… and slowly let it out.
Now, take another big breath in… and as you breathe out, imagine that you're starting to feel a little more relaxed with each breath you take. Every time you breathe in, you feel calm, and every time you breathe out, you let go of any tension in your body.
Close your eyes gently, and let your body sink into the surface beneath you, as you begin to feel more comfortable. Picture yourself sitting in a soft, fluffy cloud, floating high in the sky. This cloud feels light and cozy, like your favorite pillow or blanket. It’s the perfect place for you to rest and relax.
As you sit on your cloud, notice how soft and comfortable it feels. The cloud is so light that you feel weightless, floating gently in the air. You feel free and calm, with no worries or stress. The cloud is carrying you slowly through the sky, and you can feel the wind as it brushes gently against your face. The wind is soft, like a warm, gentle breeze, and it makes you feel peaceful and happy.
Now, look around as you float in the sky. You can see the whole world below you – tall, green trees, colorful flowers, and sparkling rivers winding through the land. The world looks so peaceful and beautiful from up here, like a picture painted just for you. Imagine you can see the colors all around you. The trees are a bright, leafy green, and the flowers are bursting with reds, yellows, and purples. The sky is a soft blue, and the sun is shining down with a warm, golden glow.
As you float higher and higher in your cloud, you begin to notice something magical ahead of you. There’s a beautiful rainbow stretching across the sky. It’s made of bright colors like red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The rainbow is like a bridge of light, reaching from one side of the sky to the other. It seems to go on forever, and you can’t wait to visit it.
You can imagine yourself flying up to the rainbow, feeling the air around you as you gently glide towards it. When you get close, you reach out and touch the colors with your fingers. As your hand touches each color, you feel something special. The red makes you feel strong and brave, the orange fills you with happiness and warmth, the yellow gives you energy and joy, the green brings you peace and calm, the blue makes you feel relaxed and at ease, and the purple helps clear your mind and bring clarity. Each color makes you feel more and more relaxed and full of light.
Now, imagine that you can hear the soft sound of the wind around you. The wind is moving gently, making a calm, soothing sound, like a whisper. You can hear the leaves in the trees swaying, and the gentle flow of a stream below, where the water is gliding over smooth stones. All of the sounds blend together, creating a peaceful melody that fills your heart with calmness. You feel so safe and relaxed, like nothing can disturb your peace.
As you listen to the wind, imagine it carrying away any worries or thoughts that might be in your mind. Picture your worries as little leaves or feathers, floating gently away in the breeze. With every breath, you feel your worries getting smaller and smaller, until they disappear completely, carried off by the wind. You feel lighter, free from anything that might have been bothering you.
You can always come back to this peaceful cloud whenever you need to relax or feel calm. It’s your special, safe place, where you can always go to feel at peace.
Now, let’s take a moment to enjoy the calmness around you. Feel the softness of your cloud, hear the gentle breeze, and feel how calm and relaxed you are. Let the peaceful feeling fill your whole body, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. You are safe. You are peaceful. You are happy.
When you’re ready, start to gently wiggle your fingers and toes, feeling the energy slowly return to your body. Slowly stretch your arms and legs, and when you feel ready, gently open your eyes.
Take a moment to notice how calm and relaxed you feel. You’ve done an amazing job at taking this peaceful journey. Remember, you can always return to your soft, fluffy cloud whenever you need to feel calm and happy.
